Happy Birthday to me!

I turned 25 this year and I still can't believe it. I know it's silly but I feel so old! lol! This year I spent the day playing with my sweet boy, lunch at Oreganos with my sweet hubby, and then dinner and games with my great family! It was a great birthday!

Happy 21st Birthday Chelci! We love you!

My brother's sweet girlfriend, Chelci, turned 21 on October 8th! I couldn't have hand picked a better person for my brother or a better new sister for me. I love Chelci and am so glad she is a part of my family! So of course I got to make another birthday cake and was so excited to make my first cake with frosting roses! I think it turned out cute...she loved it! I did a pattern in frosting and the frosting roses because she loves frosting! Happy birthday Chelci!!

Mexico trip Oct 3-5th

For an early birthday trip we all went down to Mexico and enjoyed some perfect weather and a beautiful beach! It was a great trip and a much needed relaxing weekend!

Happy 25th Jenn!!

My sweet friend Jenn turned 25 and to celebrate the occasion I of course had to make her a birthday cake, so after our yummy dinner at Oreganos we went back to my house for her surprise cake! I love you Jenn! Happy Birthday!

Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium

Friends of ours, Ricky and Tiera, got Buy 1 get 1 free coupons to the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium so we all went. It was fun! A little too hot of course being AZ but overall a good time. Our favorite part was the aquarium. Brady loved to watch all of the fish swim buy. He sure tried to get them! It was fun and tiring!

Happy Early Birthday to me!

My parents gave me an early birthday present in September...tickets for my mom and I to go and see "Legally Blonde" at Gammage. It was so fun!! I of course wished I had a pink dress to wear or some snazzy pink shoes but I wasn't going to go out and spend money we don't really have...so I improvised! I had these old hot pink flip flop heels so I decided to "Elle Woods" them! Meaning...I added bling on the heels and on the tops I tied a pink bow on each shoe (sorry no picture of the bows) I think they turned out so cute! I felt very Elle Woodish wearing them with a black dress and hot pink accessories! I had such a great time with my mom! She's the best!

We love Blues Clues at our house!

Brady's favorite t.v. show is Blues Clues . He just smiles and laughs at Steve and Blue! So as an early birthday present and to fulfill my creative bug, I decided I would draw and paint Blue on the playroom wall for him! I went down to Home Depot and bought three cans of wall test paint and then after I drew her in pencil I painted away. Here is the end result! He was so funny when he saw it, he walked up to it and stared like "What is blue doing on my wall?" Then he started to pet him!

God Bless Sturdy Bracelets

So I know they say everything changes when you have kids...but I never thought that included the type of jewelry I wear! Now when buying jewelry it not only has to be cute of course but it also has to be Brady proof since he LOVES to chew on all of my bracelets! Yay for cheap, sturdy jewelry!

Jesse turned 22!

So I'm not really sure how my little brother can be 22. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was 22 so how can he (who is 3 years younger than me) be 22...ahhh! That means I'm going to be 25 soon...what? How can that be?...For his birthday we went down to Mexico to celebrate!

Brady loves his friend Katie!

Brady is so funny when it comes to other kids...he LOVES them! He immediately tries to go up and hug kids, especially his good friend Katie! Katie is about 4 months older than Brady and whenever they get together Brady just lights up! For the first bit of playing he tries to hug her which usually ends up Brady chasing Katie until he finally catches her and then when he tries to hug her they end up falling down. It's so cute to watch!

Shaun, Brady and I went out to eat with Bonnie and Sarah and we had so much fun! We ate dinner at Toby Keith's Bar and Grill. The food was really good and the atmosphere was so fun! There was so much going on and Brady had a great time watching!

Sheana's Sister turns 21! CRAZY!

One of my nearest and dearest friends is Sheana. Sheana and I have been friends since 9th grade. I love her and her amazing family! One of her little sister's, Rachel, turned 21 and had a 20's party to celebrate! It was so fun! They had card tables set up, finger sandwiches, games, and everyone dressed up! I so love themed parties!
